"Here I am gone for a few days and come home to find that the old gay thread ain't what it used to be. In fact it had been closed, which I cannot understand at all. There are many reasons why the gay community tends to gravitate toward one another, just as any minority or sub-culture does. Security, fraternity, friendship and comraderie are some of the things I found in the previous thread. I hope we can do it again. My strong recommendation is to not engage in endless and pointless discussions with anti-gay posters. No one is going to change anyones mind so why bother?

As for the rep system, I had the urge for a split second to post a bunch of stuff to get up to 50 and start hitting up some people for rep points. It's just human nature to want what another person has. But how important can a reputation on an internet site really be? You people have no idea who the heck I am, and I'm certain you don't care. I really only registered for the purpose of asking a question about Creatine, which was answered by practical experience anyway. Not having much else to offer, I'll probably never make it to 50 posts to begin with.

At any rate, take note of the sticky at the top of the forum regarding the rep points. It looks like the moderator is trying to fix the problems with the system.
